Luis’ sons Alexander + Andres take piano private lessons

We are very lucky one of our son’s teacher recommended My Music Match to us when they were asking for piano lessons. Very professional service in finding the right instructor for us and we couldn’t be happier with Natalie. She is so patient with them and they have improved a lot in short time. They are always looking forward for the lessons and I can see them staying in lessons for a long time.

My experience with My Music Match has been wonderful. Over the past 6 months, I've learned so much from my teacher, Max. He's been able to coach me through my own musical interests to gain confidence as a singer and guitarist. Max has a way of building my confidence while challenging me to continue growing musically. Melanie takes voice + piano private lessons

Marco is great! I love his passion, enthusiasm and his compassion. What stands out is him wanting you to be the best from the root and not simply for the end goal. I LOVE that I'm learning from the foundation. It's what essentially makes me better. Sure, it's tempting to just want to sing or play the piano, but learning from the root makes the experience that much more glorious and rewarding.

My Music Match was recommended to me by my daughters elementary school teacher to prepare her for her audition at Zelda/MAS. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. Very professional from start to end. Super caring, friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They helped me secure some last minute lessons via zoom (which I chose) & I feel that they really just scheduled her exactly the time needed, not a minute longer. Liana was her voice coach and prepared her on what to expect at the audition, how to continue if she messed up a bit and how to present herself in the best way possible to her abilities. I recently attended an online Masterclass hosted by My Music Match which featured four vocal artists who had all performed professionally on Broadway in Hamilton. Though I am not a musician myself it was fascinating to hear about their own artistic development—and then be able to watch each one coach an aspiring vocalist. For me it was as though a window opened onto the world of musical theatre—and I got to peek in and listen! I heard from Johanna how amazing it was when Lin-Manuel suddenly showed up at a rehearsal—or what it was like to be a Black artist performing in Hamilton, especially now when the Black Lives Matter movement is generating its own revolution. I loved when Fergie asked his student to truly ask herself the rather rhetorical questions featured in her song. My only disappointment was that the teachers themselves didn’t sing much—just a few tantalizing snatches here and there. But the whole evening was so entertaining that I can’t wait for the next event from My Music Match.

I enjoyed “meeting” Andres, your friends, and students. I wasn’t planning to spend 2 hours watching and listening to a young successful tenor teach aspiring opera singers yesterday, but I was easily seduced by their personalities, and the teaching process that revealed many details and approaches involved in the production of beautiful and dramatic song. A very unique review here - from a teacher! It is one thing to work for people who value you and your craft. It is another thing to work for people who are so kind and understanding. And yet it is another thing entirely to work for people whose talent, leadership, and friendship absolutely shines through everything they do. Working at My Music Match was truly a pleasure. It’s amazing how someone can learn so much in a short period of time, but this is thanks to the passionate and dedicated teaching, which you can find in Liana. I started taking classes with Liana this year by the end of March, and in 2 months I’ve learned not only to expand my singing technique but also piano theory and playing the piano, this also with the help of a great piano teacher, Ben. Both of them are the perfect combination for a person to learn singing and playing the piano. In 3 weeks I learned to accompany myself on the piano, and I performed at there recital, it was wonderful. I’m so happy for what I’ve achieved thanks to them!

It’s easy to say that Ms. Salinas is one of a kind. Her natural talent and passion for music along with her caring nature shows in every lesson you will take. She has this ability to unlock her students’ potential in ways no one else can. For me, her teaching helped me find potential I never even knew I had! She pinpointed my strengths, areas I needed work on, and even selected songs that would compliment my “smooth, peanut butter milkshake” voice. This care and personalized teaching is given to each of her students; she truly wants them to be confident and excel in their singing. Ms. Salinas is an amazing private lessons teacher! I have been taking lessons with her for about 6 months now and she really helps you not only grow as a person but as a musician. I went to her for my college audition preparations and she helped me learn how to read the music better, use dynamics, and feel comfortable with the pieces. I went to Florida State University today for my college of music audition and I honestly feel like I did great! I felt confident with myself and my pieces and it’s all because of her! I entered the room knowing where to use the dynamics, what facial expressions I should use, and how to pronounce and speak in languages I didn’t even know! I took classes with Liana and Ben for 6 months and it’s crazy to see how much I’ve improved during this short period of time! I started with her, as my private teacher, and then, after a couple months together, we started preparing me for my college auditions. Ben would come in sometimes and the combination of them two was impressive. They gave me exercises, showed me techniques, helped me choose songs, and make the arrangements. We worked on everything, and I felt my confidence growing. I looked forward to the day that we had classes. I got into the only 2 colleges I applied to, (and Ben played in piano in one of the auditions). Today, I’m finishing my first semester at Berklee, and I know I couldn’t have done it without them. Their help, and care were so important for me to be here. I’m thankful, and glad I got to meet them!

Liana is amazing. She started giving my daughter voice lessons when she was eight years old on a weekly basis. She has been a huge factor in her vocal success as she has helped her train her voice and given her a way to feel confident. Alex was singing in front of large audiences in no time and with a great professional quality. Liana’s focus and attention also helped her to audition for the school play which she was the lead, as well as be accepted to the prestigious Miami Arts Charter and now after a year in the school with Liana’s help she has auditioned for the Florida all state choir and made it on her first try. Liana is amazing and has a lot of patience and cares about her students. We highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn how to sing.

I’ve been taking voice lessons since I was about 4 years old. I’ve had many different voice teachers in my lifetime, and I can tell the difference between a good teacher and a bad teacher. Liana Salinas was born to teach. She is very passionate about teaching music, and it is very apparent that she truly loves what she does. Liana changed my life forever when she introduced me to jazz music. She has inspired me, motivated me, and helped bring some incredible opportunities into my life. I was very fortunate to be chosen as 1 of the 8 vocalists in the nation to participate in the Grammy in the schools program, and I was also a YoungArts winner. It was thanks to Liana’s guidance and encouragement. She hand picked my audition songs and prepared me until I was extremely confident with the music. If you want a teacher who will pour her heart and soul into each lesson, then Liana is the best match for you.
