Step 1: Change the Key
Not only can changing the key of a song help to best showcase your instrument, you’ll find that each key tends to convey a different emotional vibe. Makayla will change the key of the song she’s working on from G Major, to E Major.
Step 2: Change the Style
A simple way to quickly transform a song, is to change the feel / groove / underlying rhythmic pattern of that song. Why not make a ballad into a bossa? Pull from your repertoire of genres to help chose a groove that works best for you!
